Chipiona is located in the “marco de Jerez”, that is, towns that enjoy 300 days of sun a year and are bordered by Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda (7 kilometers from Chipiona) and El Puerto de Santa Maria (25 kilometers from Chipiona). Driving along the roads that join these towns, you will see the splendid white “finca” houses surrounded by palm trees, looking like oasis in the middle of vineyards.
These middle class small cities, make a living from wine production, such as, sweet wine or moscatel, oloroso, amontillado, fino and manzanilla.
Quite a few white buildings with red roof tiles can be seen with the names of the most prestigious wine cellar, “bodegas”: Domecq, Osborne, Tio Pepe, González Byass…

Sevilla or Jerez
Sevilla airport is just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Chipiona.
Cars can be hired at the airport to go straight to Chipiona or you can also go to Seville city centre and take a bus or a taxi.
“Los Amarillos” buses from “Prado San Sebastián” station take 2 hours to get to Chipiona.
Jerez airport and RENFE train station are only 30 minutes from Chipiona.
